19 x 19 Challenge

PLEDGE:
Starting on March 21, I, Mark Perry , pledge to publish an original work in print form every 19 days for one year, for a total of 19 books .

PURPOSE:
I wish to encourage and promulgate a theatre of abundance and purpose.
EXPLANATION:
I am a playwright and dramaturg in late middle age whose career has veered more towards teaching and youth mentoring than professional production and publication. As such, I find myself in possession of any number of unfinished textbooks and unpublished plays, plus uncounted pages of theatre essays and writing on dramatic theory.
My first impulse was just to clear the shelves, but I realized there was a coherent message through all of this writing. Over the decades, I have been refining my thinking and practice of theatre. I wish to share that vision publicly so that like-minded artists, teachers, and companies may benefit and take it further.
