Summer 2005. The Drama Circle is happy to say that after 2 years in the making, the video and documentary of our production of "A Dress for Mona" is now available. And it looks great! This is no typical, cheesy videotaping done from the back row. This is full three camera setup with close-ups, reaction shots, and pains-taking editing. 5th Epoch Press did a great job producing this, and we just learned that Luis Dechtiar won an award for his work on the documentary included with the DVD. "A Play for Mona" both tells the story of Mona Mahmudnizhad, the young Iranian martyr, and captures the spirit behind the production. |
