Carrboro, NC. On June 9 & 10 [2007], the Kristin Lengowski Children's Theatre shared its program with the hundreds of eager audience members that came out to hear its powerful message, captured in a song's chorus: "We're really just one world..." This Spring, the Baha'is of Chapel Hill, NC sponsored this project at Carrboro Elementary School, where 24 children participated in virtues-based character training as well as plays and songs that presented such virtues through the arts. The KLCT has adopted the materials of the Children's Theatre Company of New York for the children ages 5 - 11 and the 'Principles of Drama' Course for ages 12 and up. The KLCT was named in memory of Kristin Lengowski, a dear member of the Baha'is of Chapel Hill, who passed away in April 2006. For more information on the KLCT, you can read an article in the local paper at: Or visit the following: www.childrenstheatrecompany.org For more about the 'Principles of Drama' Course, click the "Training" link.
