Children Proclaim Need for UNITY

   Carrboro, NC. On June 9 & 10 [2007], the Kristin Lengowski Children's Theatre shared its program with the hundreds of eager audience members that came out to hear its powerful message, captured in a song's chorus: "We're really just one world..."

   This Spring, the Baha'is of Chapel Hill, NC sponsored this project at Carrboro Elementary School, where 24 children participated in virtues-based character training as well as plays and songs that presented such virtues through the arts. The KLCT has adopted the materials of the Children's Theatre Company of New York for the children ages 5 - 11 and the 'Principles of Drama' Course for ages 12 and up. 

   The KLCT was named in memory of Kristin Lengowski, a dear member of the Baha'is of Chapel Hill, who passed away in April 2006. For more information on the KLCT, you can read an article in the local paper at:

New Scripts Available

    As part of KLCT's 2007 presentation, we introduced two new short plays: Andisheh's Diary & Under the Lens. These plays are suitable to be performed by ages 12 and up.
   You may download the scripts to read by clicking on the title or the photo. We do ask that you fill out a request form if you wish to perform one or both. There is no royalty fee for non-commercial performances. For more scripts, visit our Script Library.
